Girl at dawn.

Girl at dawn.

Mono in front of my body in October 2012.
I love this band. This was the best experience I’ve had listening to a band live until now. It was also a good reminder on getting new bussiness cards, so I don’t have to go writing my email in pieces of my sketchbook LIKE A BEAST.
Hey but also, they just released a trailer for the show I’ve been working on for the last months. The show is awesome and fun and I animate on it so you should check the hell out of it over here.

modmad:

So some of you want me to do more voice recordings and I’m just going to BAIL OUT ON THAT by posting this clip of my animation class messing about last year. Someone made a die out of cardboard and we ended up using it for games of keepie-uppy and they got quite extravagantly bonkers.

We also had steeplechase ping pong down the tables with ring binders and cups as obstacles.

CA78 was the best class ever man. BEST. CLASS. EVER.

———————————————————————

Look at this excerpt of a BBC independent documentary shot by real british professionals! Our class was pretty educated in the arts of the pointless games and Extreme Ping Pong. We were world-class athletes and we were not afraid to show it to the world.

HEY I GET ALL DA EXTRA POINTS.

Hey, I made my first gif. It’s of a troubled gorilla, or maybe it’s actually a REALLY DEEP METAPHOR?
I don’t know, today is also my birthday, so I will fulfill the prophecy and eat a bowl of cereal right now.
Update: Hey, I’m eating cheerios.

Here’s my demo reel with stuff I did during 2011 while attending VFS.

And this is my graduation short film from the Classical Animation program at the Vancouver Film School.

I’ve been writing dreams sporadically since several years now, and others from even my early childhood that just stucked in my head. I really think dreams is one of the most impressive processes of the human brain, and that say more about the individual than anything else. And as a plus side, they’re freaking fun.

I think they were the main reason I got into studying Animation, I wanted to study Film at first, but there’s something about animation. Animation comes really from the inside of the head. And as much as I’d like to get more involved with film, it still needs real, tangible stuff to tell something. Man, animation. You basically just create whatever you need. From scratch. From your head. Like dreams.

I usually say that I’d like to be able someday to actually go to a psychoanalyst. Not a psychologist. I don’t want someone to say what he thinks is wrong with me, I just want them to tell me hey what’s going on.

And if at the end is just like oh the typical penises and vaginas oh well big freaking surprise, right?

Well, here is a flash animation I did as part of the Classical Animation program at the Vancouver Film School.

I know shit about agronomists.

So, I wouldn’t like to spoiler much but here’s a still from my final film project. We’re finishing clean-up and start coloring on DIP this next Monday, so this is a trial of color scheme that might change a little on the final version.
Anyways, just to keep a little movement here. I’m gonna check if there’s pop-tarts in the vending machine.

Linetest of lipsync assignment. After making a mess in the office, Mr. Paisley kicks out Noodles.

And maybe this will be the last linetest for a while. We have just started officially with the Final Film, which means we’re basically dead for the next 4 or 5 months.

I’ll try to update at least with doodles I have around or will make when I’m not crying in a corner or will make WHILE I’m crying in a corner.

I forgot to upload this one from a couple terms back. A gator doing some Tex Avery-like take.

A big, extreme reaction is known as a “take” in the animation world. A world filled with cool people and endless full-of-sin parties.

Animation assignment. Noodles (who has a misterious resemblance to certain underwater guy) has to change a broken lightbulb at work. He's called later by his boss, who surely will praise his hard work.

Ok, this one is hardly inbetweened so it definitely looks choppy, maybe I’ll upload it again if I have chance to do it.

Final film mostly approved. We start in less than a month. After that everything is going to be death by faca no olho.

Here’s a new animation assignment: Dumpo, the magician. They give you the character and you have to make him fail a trick. It’s not completely inbetweened so sorry when it gets a little choppy.

We are already on the track of starting the Final Film. I keep trashing ideas. I should be getting stressed, but it’s ok because I know this is all a dream I’m having on my commatose hospital bed.

Just the latest animation assignment, a weightlifter to simulate weight and tension.

Kinda sketchy, but I wanted to experiment more with the fluidity of the movement. A lot of drawings for this one, but I’m a machine without feelings or basic necessities.

Animal walk cycle. Maybe I should have done the head a little less flat… but maybe I should have tried to draw a freakin’ animal head to begin with. ANYWAYS…

Walk cycle that I did for an animation assignment. Kinda featuring yours truly.
